Man that sucks!:af: You'd better start looking for another location. Has that boat yard had a history of thefts? That's really unbelievable to have two stolen in a single year. Must be a hot market for kicker motors.

I would not be surprised that it is someone who owns another boat on the marina.
Anyone got a POS motor that can be painted up to look nice? put it on the same boat. and start your sting.
I hear more than a few people on this board are out of work...

It's time to bait the bastages and get some justice. I'm a cop who has completely had it with our judicial system. So borrow a motor, bait a boat and bring a few bats. Catch him/her and "give them some loving" Louisville slugger style. Don't forget to smash out the knees and break both arms. They will remember what they did while someone else is feeding them and wiping their a$$!

I've said it before and I'll say it again. SOME PEOPLE SUCK!

Sorry for your loss buddy.

It's not everyday that a cop agrees that our judicial system sucks!!!

No not pi$$ed at all. Just realistic. I might be pi$$ed if someone stole my motor for the second time. I'm just saying that we see first hand the lame a$$ excuses defendants give as to why they steal, rob, assault etc and the victims are more often than not the every day law abiding citizen. After a while it gets beyond depressing. No one steps forward and takes blame any more. And most of the time the police get drilled why they did certain things when in fact we too are law abiding people doing their jobs trying to make a living.

And people wonder why cops have the highest alcoholism, divorce and suicide rates.

That's why some people suck!

But getting back to this thread. Here he is now out two motors. Sometimes you gotta do what ya gotta do.

Put a stick of dynomite inside the outboards casing and wire the fuse to the sparkplug. Then let your boat sit there for a few weeks.

Its kind of like going chunking:D

Sometimes a little  plus a little :rocketem: will give you lots of :D. Of course your friends might think your:laughs: but hey, you get teh job done.

Of course I would never stick dynomite in my outboard motor.. I mean everyone knows that plastic explosives are the premier weatherproof explosive:D

After loosing 3 car stereos to A$$hols like that I superglued some Razorblade pieces to the nuts under the dash. A week later I came back to a car that was full of blood but the stereo was still there. :D
That was the last time that car was broken into because the Cops found the punk. :D:D He tried to sue for medical cost, after receiving more than 50 stitches on both hands and fingers. He told everything that had happened to the Cops. I received a phone call that I had to be at home the next day at 4:30PM so they could look at my car... and "He" the cop "did not think I had any razor blade under the dash". That was a good enough hint for me to remove the razor blade pieces. Next day the Cops did not find anything under the dash, they charged him with over 30 counts of theft and vandalism from different cars.:D

That was you?
I have heard that story over and over for years.
Goes along with the guy who put needles in his coat pockets to punish pick pockets.

I don't know if that's the one you heard. This happened in OSLO Norway in 1978 or 1979 when I was a young man :D

I have heard similar stories also.

Perhaps they should manufacture a microchip device much like lojack that can be activated for fee when items of value (like a motor or boat) are stolen...

They'd be easy enough to conceal on a motor...

The next thing they'd need to do is...

Punish Criminals!!! A new concept indeed!

They already have. They want to put it in clothes to track inventory and theft, and I read that they want to put them in lobsters to track migration or something like that. Supposed to be like the size of the head on a pin.

For years they have been doing it for exotic plants, pets, farm animals, and ... TIRES!!! It is a glass bead with chip inside.

You need to hold the scanner close to it to detect it.

The new models you still need to be about 10 ft or less to detect.
They operate like a crystal radio (for you old timers).
they get power from the radio waves and then transmit back their code.

good luck folks.

I need one of them chips for my remote control. Last night I tore apart my house looking for it for over an hour. I finally gave up and went to bed. This morning I found the remote in my truck.

Still have no idea how it got there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

explosives arent personal enough for theives ! you need to let them know who it is thats taking them down a notch . eye to eye so to speak . in some countries if you steal they cut off your hand in others they kill your wife . both excellent means of revenge BUT I do believe it needs to be more severe . ice picks and lighters come to mind and a vice . believe me they wont steal again and if your caught no murder charge just an assault charge with a deadly weapon ( saves at least 25 years off your sentence ) . If that dont work for you just hide in wait and stab the thief in the gut . pig stick the thief . give him the shiv , the shank , the poke .
