Lost a goodgood fish last night on your electric blue mackeral plug.. I'd have guessed her to be in the 30lb range... She wrapped me into some boulders and chaffed 25ft of line before it broke... :(

Great plug :kewl:

Before that it had held up well for 6 or so bass to 32" and some Blue fahkers.. (8-12+), that finish is great.. good thing I have another

Yeah it was a swimmer, but you don't have to replace it, wasn't the plus fault.... but if you insist, check your PM's..

Seriously I can't replace a plug every time someone loses one...I felt like being generous I guess. These things cost $$$ and lotsa TIME to make. Hit me at the next show or something when I got stuff ready ok? I can't turn this stuff fast enough to keep up all the time and swimmers won't be done for quite a while now...like months.

yea for sure. I thought about this tonite while I was coating wood, kinda a catch 22 situation. I guess I'm damned if I do and damned if I don't...foresaw this coming fwiw.
I give enough plugs away here and to John that I think everyone has a decent chance at getting free stuff to fish with.
I'll keep doing it when I can too, just money is tight right now and not looking to lose more :)

Salty - I don't think anyone can reasonably expect you to replace plugs lost thru normal means... If someone shows you the front hunk of a thru wire but missing the rest of the plug, they got a reason to beech about it but if its lost on a fish or snagged on a rock...

Now if you continue to offer replacement pluggage when someone LOSES the plug, you will die a poor man with a lot of fair weather friends... SO I recommend that other than fo me, a replacement policy should not include when the swivel is intercepted by the odd bluefish :D
