im useing envirotex, But may swap it out for sumtin else

Crystal Sheen, it is a crystal clear deep gloss finish. More durable than Envirotex. No bubble issues and I use 1 coat.

DUDE !!! envirotex is weak ,, Interrior use...too rubbery..If you get a pointer u can peel like a grape.....I dropped this needle in the surf yesterday on a dropping tide..(sinker) I tried to pick it up in between waves but I couldn't reach it..Its was between three barnicle incrusted rocks ,going back and forth in the surf dissapearing under one of them ..I fished the tide out and went back to get it after the water line went down ...I couldn't believe my eyes...Not a scratch...this is an envirotex plug I peeled and did over...Clear coat is very good too ..No more blowing bubbles either ...that will make you mental or in your case worse.. System three is marine quality.. Be careful if you break out in a rash on your forehead or inside of your forearms ,you have become sensitive to it and might have problems ever working with it again ..No Lie..nasty stuff !!! Don't get it on your skin ...I'm using SB112 because system 3 rep steared me that way..(used on surfboards)...My bubba and yours is using clear coat with great success....... u owe me 5 for all this...I owed u 3...u still owe me 2..

Been using epoxy but now i've seen the light ,besides epoxy doesn't really hold up after tossing 'em a lot,at least for me.Anyway, been doing some "testing" fer someone else and after seeing how the stuff holds up that's what i'm going to.:cool: "tRB"

Depends on what your looking for, Polys. Varnishes, Urethanes ,Enamels,or Pelucid but that will kill you quicker , most of all use a respirator . Happy Clear Coating.........

Right now I'm pretty steamed cuz Dave YOU got BIG nuts to say what you did here. My new needlefish is MY design, it came out of hours of work to get the shape I wanted. It actually started when I was doing a new template for the MAKATI design I been doing for the last 6 months on the lathe. I needed a new template for the new duplicator and started to do it but decided instead to change the front of it instead. NOTHING whatsoever to do with your stuff. Neither is the stubby 1 oz one that PRECEDED the 2.5 oz one. Your needle I have here is so far different it's laughable.

And for the record I can account for every needle that has been done, so I know who had what to SAY. All I'm going to say is SAD :(

Are you specifically referring to saltwater plugs used to catch bass and blues? Is this just someone that is only in it for the business end to do it commercially?
I personally never took apart a plug to copy it, usually you can tell where weighting is and measurements are easy to take without having to cut something apart. I have heard of Xraying plug also. I'm sure many others haven't cut up plugs either. but I must be lying ;)

a while back i was checking out differant products for overcoat. this one tech for Fiberglass coatings, a company in Fla.told me to use MOP and GLO. never did try it.the product that they sold for this purpose was no longerbeing produced because of epa regulations. the only reason i use an overcoat is to hold the glitter on.
