Mr. Sandman 10-10-2003, 03:24 PM Rip... Shore or boat? What are you lookin for? Bass? If so there is not much happening at Wasque. The beach scene for bass is slow (fishing 4+ nights/week)...unless you like to bottom fish then you can pick some up. There are some blues, and albies around near the hooter if that is what your after. That seems to be where all the action is for bones and albies and the now and then blue. For some reason fishing is slower here then normal. Yeah...there are some albies and some blues but it ain't gang busters. The bass scene is very slow. Pluggin and eeling the surf has been a slow pick for me. I have watched the bait crowd pick up some nice fish but that is a pick as well. From the boat, I have been leaving menemsha and traveling about 10 miles north and working that area. It *was* pretty good last week but the water is sooooo damn clear that fishing has slowed considerably. Perhaps this NE wind will stir the pot a little. I have not seen blues on the surface this fall AT ALL!!! I am not kidding...They are all inshore of us. Water temp in the low to mid 60's still.... ps...tube and worm is overrated IMO. The charter guys do use them though... vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
