beachwalker 10-13-2003, 05:40 PM That southie's a wanker.
Painful to watch. Really hurts to listen to.
Love it when I turn the channel :laughs:
Scotch Bonnet 10-13-2003, 05:43 PM I'm really surprised he gets Boston Bruins to fish with him.
Christian 10-13-2003, 05:56 PM its fishing on tv so i got to watch it. its entertaining. isnt he going to a msba meeting soon? im definitly going if he is. ill have to get his autograph.:)
BigFish 10-13-2003, 06:00 PM Christian, I have tried to book Charlie Moore for the MSBA several times this year and every time I get close to closing the deal, Charlie Moores people drop the ball and do not return my phone calls or e-mails. I guess they do not want Charlie touching base with the oldest and largest salt or fresh water fishing club in New England. Too bad, I know people would have enjoyed it. Are any of Charlie Moore's people listening?????:lossinit:
Clammer 10-13-2003, 06:14 PM @#$% him ,,,he drives me nuts=========but he gets to go to the bank:smash:
Squid kids Dad 10-13-2003, 06:19 PM I think he is entertaining...Hell its a fishing show..How bad can it or he be....I like him... :p
beachwalker 10-13-2003, 06:20 PM If Charlies people are like Charlie they barely listen.
It is mostly all BS talk. Fishing with Bait from a boat for Bass ?
It reminds me of the bit's on Jim Belushi when he was fishing out of the Vineyard on TV.
With all due repect to the Captain.
I mean guys. I could put my Great Gandmother on fish, from a boat, with bait. And she died in '71 :D
But it makes for good wannabe TV and that isn't hurting anyone except my intolerant, yankee ass........
Ok, now I am going fishing
Squid kids Dad 10-13-2003, 06:30 PM Dont watch it then..good luck out there tonight..be safe
shore manic 10-13-2003, 06:38 PM come on now let's not get to carried away i have seen him use some rubbah and mostly spinnerbaits but the curlytails on smallies works for me!!! G.S. any input here? he is loud and abnoxious sometimes, but hey if that's what makes him happy all the best to him. not everyones perfect i'm from another dimension and some of you guys like me for who i am.(just some crazy whacked out S.O.B. who stumled onto this site some time ago) thanks S.B. it's alway fun:
Slipknot 10-13-2003, 07:26 PM They should definately have Bassmaster on as a guest sometime :)
BigFish 10-13-2003, 08:40 PM :bl: :bl2: :hihi: :hs:
shore manic 10-13-2003, 10:40 PM someday soon i'd like to meet the psysho bassmaster!! see when i go fishi'n i don't want to stop either, i'm always the last one on my spot.then others have probably moved on and are into fish! i'm just looking to get a 30#. never up never in, oh that's the other game with clubs....
Got Stripers 10-14-2003, 05:42 AM Damn I guess I should have asked you to go yesterday instead of my son. We had a boat, a livewell full of fiesty Hickory Shad and dragged them around many bassy spots with only the toothy ones to give them a look see. If it weren't for the honking NW wind, I'd have run to a little storied Island off in the not so distant distance, but it was wet enough getting around.

Got Stripers 10-14-2003, 05:47 AM I'm with Clammer on this guy, he just grates on my nerves listening to his loud mouth and what I'd loosly call humor. Those so called fishing shows sometimes take days to put together enough footage to edit a 30 minute piece out of, so don't be fooled into thinking these guys are the cats meow and if they lost their job; they could easily guide. I watch if there are some decent fish being caught and targeted, but I might have to turn the volume down if Charlies on.

Well said, its not an easy thing to do. And Being a Guide is even harder.
I dont know the the chuck moore Guy. I make My own adventures of the wren and stimpy show.
I would love to punish a camera man on the sands, that would be fun.
I would want all the non fishing verbage:D I'd make a killing.
beachwalker 10-14-2003, 08:54 AM No shiite bass and GS,
These guys goe fishing like they are going to Disney World.
Fishing is easy. You just pay somebody and the fish jump on your lap.
Oh the laugh we would get dragging these guys down the beach.
:laughs: :laughs: :laughs:
Imagine C.M. working a rip and getting knocked down and dragged out ?
He may never beach fish again.
Maybe you guys are onto something ;)
bassmaster 10-14-2003, 09:29 AM  :rtfm:
I got some hills , run down cast , Oh we got to leave now:laughs:
schoolie monster 10-14-2003, 12:16 PM He's probably really good at what he does... fishing the northeast lakes for freshwater bass. He's pretty obnoxious, but that's his schtick. But its pretty funny to see him completely flip his lid and be down on his knees for a 3lb bass. I've heard him say "This fish is huge, I don't even think I can land this fish" and its like a 2lb smallie.
I've seen a couple of his striper charters, he's doesn't know anything about saltwater fishing and I don't think he really claims too.
I was a pretty good freshwater fisherman and it doesn't necessarily translate over to the salt. But I was still a good fisherman. Now I'm probably a crappy freshwater fisherman and an almost decent saltwater fisherman. Its a big transition. I still think a 36" fish is big even though I've caught much bigger fish... but compared to the fish I caught for the first 27 years of my life, a fish that's half the size of a grown man seems pretty large.
CM is pretty much a moron, but it gives you hope... if he can make a living off fishing, anyone can.
bassmaster 10-14-2003, 12:32 PM beach walkaH, I need to come to Your rock and get thrown off private beach
beachwalker 10-14-2003, 03:41 PM Bathmasta,
