I just got a new pup and need to come up with a good name fast before my wife sticks "HIM" with the name "Snuggles". She hates all the names I've come up with so far. He's a Weimaraner. HELP!

Maxamillion or Max for short would be my suggestion, but you knoow once the female of the species makes her mind up there's not much that can be done to change it. I love those dogs, bet a puppy version is cool. I saw a segment on them one Saturday on ESPN. They're one of the non-hypoallergenic breeds with a lot of energy, but properly trained excellent family dogs. Good luck with it.

I'd name him Eddy or Bob. Life is good to Eddies and Bobs

Thanks. The dog is pretty cool and seems real smart, I've had him less than a week. I've always wanted one. Only thing is that his coat is so short that he'll need a sweater and mittens to go out on the boat in cold weather.:D

your dog will give you its name example my dog loved to chew wood so she got the nickname wooda!! then she loved to eat soxs I cant tell you how many Holey sox I got so I used to put them on my hands and say muppahs and crack her ass thinkin she would be scared of sox so the name muppahs stuck you will see enjoy there is nothing like a dog unconditional love thats what they bring to the house!! Just stay in charge and dont let the dog take over which it will try and do:laughs: if you ever want training ideas from crate to obiedence we did it all Ill help you.

I've read that dogs respond best to a two syllable name that ends in a vowel sound.
On a lighter note: Did you hear about dyslexic aethiest?

He keeps telling everyone that there is no DOG.
