can anybody tell me of any good ramps in wickford , ive been launching out of gallilea any info will help ,travel from western mass to gallillea lookin to shorten trip up any info on ramp will be helpful :D

there is a good steep one of f of route 1 ====don,t know the streets name===========why Wickford now =in the end of the season when most of the fish are south ??/////////

It's on Intrepid, almost next to the fire department. Ramp is fairly steep. There is also a ramp at the URI Bay campus, right at the bottom of the road. Never used it, but it is listed as a concrete plank ramp, last time I looked it was covered with sand and there isn't a dock to tie up to so you need to hop on over the beach.

I use the ramp off Intrepid often it"s ok has a dock and good parking,It is only 11 miles shorter than point jude,but your right in the middle of the bay.Nice when there is a big surf out front or a strong south wind.
