I was told that a huge wave of 40 -50lbers went by the beaches during this week, My friend and his group got a 52 and 57 lber :) :) ><>
It is not over ,,,,it just started !
ps, the tuna report was also kinda good, ton's of fish but not many on the boats
pps. It was hard to find a parking spot in Harwitch because every boat was out trying their luck at a Giant . Is everything late or what ?

guess there were to many people fishing this weekend, for the big ones to safely feed oh the beaches. just like skiing only snows on mondays.

not many on boats?? u talkin ta the wrong guys,,this past week or a hair before the boats killed the tuna ,,,everyone loaded up to the point that the price went from 17.00 an change to 1.17 a lb. an now the buyers don't even want any cause they have floaded the market.....how do u say dumpster fish,,,what a waist.

My tuna report was from last sat when I was their, sounds like it broke open this week, The striper report was fron tuesday or weds night of this week..
We came in about 3:30 on sat and was talking with a guy from Montauk who had problems and had to come back in.He was the only person we talked with everyone else was out fishing. The parking lot was full,, looked like the 4th of July weekend on the cape .. lol
Another friend got 2 the week before :)
And Capt Bill S even got a small one in his new boat !
All them knuckelheads headed albie fishing in NC this week,

I fished with a guy Sunday that was part of that "crew". He had a fish that dressed at 600 lbs sell for 34 cents per pound ! He said some of the guys were getting INVOICES cause it cost more to ship the fish than it brought at market . . . . that's just nuts.
