View Full Version : cod blank Christian 11-03-2003, 04:39 PM whats a good cod blank?:) iflysw1 11-03-2003, 06:15 PM I built one on a Shakespeare solid glass unfinished sanded blank, SHA 0322 84" with a number 20 tip. The person didn't want to drop big bucks in a blank he might only use once a year on a charter boat out of Point Judith. Hope this was some help. I like longer rods for Cod my choice would be a Seeker #775-8 or the "Gaff" both in 8' theres also the Lamiglas BT96 8S don't mind the missprint in their catalog it does not have a #30 tip:smash: more like a 22 iflysw1 11-04-2003, 06:58 PM Mike CC, Thank you for the information on the Shakespeare blanks.
