My fishing buddy has a new girl friend and her parents have a place on or veryclose to the Herring river. How's the fishing there?

I fish in Dennis a lot. A place called Chapin beach on the Bay side. There is a nice hole about a mile to the left of where you walk in. You can get an off road permit for the beach so you don't have to walk (175$) It is worth it. Not only is it a gorgeous beach, but you can catch nice fish there all day long. I usually do my best there during the Spring w/ live herring. I know some other descent spots aroud there to. PM me and I'll give you some directions.

The Herring river is a great spring spot with herring,,,don't know too much more about the rest of the season,,,but it is the cape,,,how bad could it be???only fished the area with the boat,,,nice tidal areas,,,outflows etc. close to monamoy,,,love the area,,,wish i lived there
