Went down the Race this morning....beautiful morning and day, nice and sunny, warm, thats right warm...remember it is Nov. 7. No fish!!! None!!! Sorry to see it end, I put it off as long as I could but thats it! The seagulls, terns, and gannetts, had a great day together. Just me and them. Pretty sociable when you get to know them!!!:doh: I shared my donuts with them and they split their sandeels and dogfish carcasses with me. :yak: We had a ball. Then I watched them crash the water for most of the morning. Time to clean all my stuff and pack it away and break out my ice fishing tilts!!!!????? :bc: :scream: :doh: :crying: God I hate winter. Wake me when March gets here!:sleeps:

Just tired Beachwalker.....not worth the effort to go out to me, either small fish or no fish! Time to rest up for next year, already started ordering my new stuff for next year. No time to waste.:sleeps:

bigfish you ice fish buckmasters? i got some bass and large pickeral out of there last year. also built a huge snowman with a rod for a $%^. the ranger came out looked at it laughed, checked our licenses then left, good times, good times.

well as far as the cape goes it is over for me , still a few more days left on LI for me. than its ski time, trade those fish ploes for ski poles than there is no off season. all work and no play makes johnny a dull boy.

I figure chasing large for another 3 weeks then off to my winter striper spots :btu:

Well I am done chasing Bass and most other fish as they are gone. But I am going to try for some Tog,s this week and I really want to get out on a couple of more Cod trips. But Cod trips that i can get some Cod!! I will try out side Chatam the next time I go out. I no of some real nice spots out that way some are just to far (20 miles ) for this time of year. But there are a few with in 10 miles and they are getting closer everyday as the water cools down!!
