Anyone have any experience with these? Looking at the 9' T530 for an eel/big plug rod at the jetties... seems rugged enough and the price ain't so bad... comments, criticisms etc...?

Never been exposed to the Calstars but I think you will find that
most of the guys on the site like the 1088 Batson for what your talking about. If you need more Kahuna's then maybe a 1089?

I dont know what the Calstar sells for but I think you could have a custom 1088 built plain jane for somewhere between 150-175 but dont quote me on that!
