Not the whole beach but the "tip" shal we say..... from the last house down to where the beach ends.. The only way to get to the "moving water" was a little chanel of fencing.... Drove me mental:smash: IT was there from late may to july I think, which imho is the best time to fish there....

That game grand theft auto is unbelievable. Every time my nephews play that thing I crack up also. It's like the Terminator movies. I was playing it last Tuesday and told him to set me up in the tank and when the cop cars hit you they blow up :D he has all these codes for weapons and stuff, it's insane:laughs:

it's an over the top game, to be honest with you, while it has its moments, i would never let my own kids play GTA or anything like it.

GTA was a little obsession of mine last winter before I got into building plugs.... I'd throw that disk into my play station and th next thing I knew I was throwing hand grenades into nightclubs, beating up bikers, and sniping hoe's from lighthouses...not many folks know it but you can steal boats and snipe people from the water:rocketem:

The credits at the end were something to read.. Ray Liotta is the voice for Tommy Vercetti, I kinda thought he was, but a LOT of well knowns did the voices.

Left the ho's alone, although I did get the strip club to pay off 4K everytime I drove buy it, the car dealership was cool, that paid 9K everytime, after I stole all the cars on the want lists.

I just read 'On the Run' and it got me thinking about planing my own dream trip... It would be cool to buy an old Egg Harbor trawler and follow the migration down the coast.... Anchoring at some sweet bass holes and row in to surfcast the rocks and bars at night, then jig the rips and rockpiles in the egg harbor durring the day... If I ever found my self without a lady and a family and it was time to retire this would be the way I'd go out.....I think I'd even have get my captian's liscense and do charters to pay for all the diesel

Yeah, its a tough thing about boating is the cost!, I have the choice between my fathers 26' and my 13' when I go out, and except for blackfishing in the late fall/winter, I almost ALWAYS take the little boat, no fuel, no extra work, just jump in, yank the starter and go.. funny cause a few years ago, all I wanted to do was go bigger and farther offshore... occasional trips are fun, but everyday/week with 60 mile runs... nah... I'll stay inshore... I'm sure as long as I can afford it, I'll have some kind of boat, but my guess is it will always be on the small side... besides, by the time you retire, all the old Egg's will be gone and the new ones are production crap... give me a Bertram anyday of the week... out and back in a hurricane lol, although a pretty Jim Smith, G&S or Rybo wouldnt be bad...

If I had been single when I graduated college I probably would have gone the route you just mentioned Eben, travel working on a yacht or something, make my ticket earn me a livin, not just be a side job, but.......... life is still good....

I been working on My Tone , guess Im getting back into it.
Im close to having this amp done.
I had this down to the bare chassis and its gone through a bunh of circuit changes
But now I have a good amp to crank.
waiting on a few capacitors and it may get another trype of tube
with a quick Mod and bias
and then it tone to the Bone.
look at this pic this was a completer rebuild and the next night I tore it down and started to work it over.
its a 71 fender bassman and I modded the bass channel for guitar tone ala fender /marshall tone :D

You usin that Play-Doh to insulate the wires? :D

I do so LOVE pro audio equipment. :drool: Was messin' with my pa system this a.m. - hooked up the dbx subharmonic synthesizer to my Rane crossover to the dedicated Crown K2 Amp (1600 W @ 8 ohms!) hooked in parallel to da 4 Panasonic Ramsa subs. Throw a trance 12" vinyl on the 1200's and ... shake the drywall screws loose! Still sick as a dog, so me beat mix up a storm at home today, at least I'll get a workout tape out of it. :happy:

I've got NADs and a sweet set of paradigms--I was thinking a few years back of upgrading my system: creek audio makes a nice integrated amp, but the price made me think otherwise.

Ben its all about tone
I got electronic componant candy coming and Im going to put the final tweaks on this amp.
played it 2.5 hrs today and it has tone to the bone

bm, Now you have Bone of your Own....
