It was great to check up on the boards thoughout the day, all fall long and see who was catching, fishing, bragging, bitching, or just talking about fish.
Now, its just not the same.
How long till the spring migration?

Tell me about. With the lack of fewer new posts to read and no more fishing, I am a heck of a lot more productive at work. :laughs:

bait were all over the place with gannets diving and no seals in the area. what a day for macks, until the snow squall came. did anyone hear about the coast guard cutter ran into a reef off newport on tuesday morning. i saw the whole fiasco. cutter doing about 35mph thru 3-4 footers for about 300yards and then dead stop. didn't figure out what happened and kept on pulling up macks. later on wed, a customer of mine told me about the incident. yes even with all the technologies ,we still screw up. anyone been killing the macks or heard of squid in the newport area. thanks
Breakfast fish..
People jigging for them at the usual place in newport. :D
not me though, too busy, but my folks live a block away so I take careful notice of whats going on there.
