All my penns and mid-range shimanos I will have the local guy clean and service but I've got a couple of stellas I would like to get serviced buy someone who really knows them. I wanted to send them back to CA but it does not look like the main office does service. (At least I could not find the address to send it)

The booklet says sent it to the local service agent...Looking thru their website, Bucko's is listed as a dealer/service but it appears that Sea-Isle in NY also is and has techs that specialize in various reels. I have bought parts from bucko's in the past but have not had them service stuff. It has been 20 years since I have been in sea-isle in Freeport, NY and I recall that was quite a place even back then, dealing in lots of big game repairs.
Anyway anyone have any experinece with higher-end spinning gear at either of these places recently?

Not spniners but I did have my internationals serviced by Buckos, once. They seemed to do a good job but were substantially more expensive than any other place I've ever used, including Penn.

My internationals I've sent to penn and they come back great at a very reasonable price. But these stellas are not the popular and to be honest most shops probably will not have all the parts.
I noticed on the web site that sea-isle has 48 hour return on stellas..I figure they gotta have the parts.
Actually there is not much wrong with them so I am worrying over nothing.
