I went skiing today for the first time since 95, I still stink but the small crowds cut down on the liabilities.
Cannon has a deal on tues. and thurs. 2 tickets are $40! renting at ski market made it a $41 day until the beers. Anyway, to my SB friends for a cheap day skiing Cannon is the place. But be forewarned if you take the Peabody Lift, once you're off the lift, it's a directory sign, then 1/4 of steep mountain before you can stop to chat.
I did get to do my imitation of a fish out of water when I fell off getting off the lift :smash: , good times, I'll never rag (big lie) on someone when I see them flailing to be on two feet again.
Today was great I got to make new tracks in knee deep powder, ski fresh groomed trails and then brave the ice, a full day was done by 1pm.
