Tried that, but the Judge said "My wife ran off with a fisherman".... now I'm on death row for a speeding ticket.... :huh:

I go 5 Jan 2003 to try and get mine to go away, in RI we get 1 "bye" if the ticket is 14 or under over... I was 45 in a 20 (school zone, otherwise its 30) after school hours, cop was nice and wrote it for 10 over... now lets just hope my last on (2.5 years ago) doesnt show up when I ask for it to be dismissed........

Well...11.00am before judge "woppner" East Boston. They call you up and you sit next to a Statey who starts telling the judge what a dope you are ...I got my blank check ready because I know I'm going to lose..My turn..I just tell the truth, figuring he's heard it all..I say I don't know how fast I was going I took the exit with the rest and he pulled over me ..Pleeeez judge consider my driving record 30 yrs. 1 speeding ticket going 3 mph over with a seat belt thing a mile from my house ...thats it ,,no oui nothing..I do alot of driving in and around boston ,,plus fishing ..plus skiing ,vermont ,,New Hamshire ,,Maine ,, nothing.. "Not Responsible" he says that means I win ...No $100.00 dollar fine ... No insurance surcharge BS....
If I lost I was planning on asking if I could make a donation to the Dare program in leu of a fine ....I heard you can do that to beat insurance scammers... All tickets were for Oct 28 ..29 ..30..
and if you speak broken english they just take you out back and shoot you ...I'm very Happy but in respect to others I will stay Grumpy cause I missed a days pay ...:splat:
