Does anyone know where I can get parts for my Jigmaster online or in R.I.? My clicker is frozen solid and I've tried everything to free it up. Can the clicker be replaced seperate(it's pressed/peened on} or do I have to get a whole new side plate?

You are going to have to get a new side plate.
I live in Mass. But just about any good tackle shop should have all the parts you need.
Buko's in Fallriver isn't to far from the border?

But any who you can get parts and Schematic here at this site. Just click what reel you have and the parts will be listed. If you look above the reel pic you will see the link to a parts list and Schematic. This will help you pick the right part and part #
Good Luck!!

Good for you!!
Did you look at the schamatic??
I noticed that they have just the click button and the clicker tounge there?
I have never changed one as i could never figure out how to do it?? I tryed once and broke the cover!
So now i just buy the side plate and don't worry about it.

The side plate was only $7.00 plus shipping, so I ordered it. Thanx again.

Fish,
Before you throw away tht old side plate, try some corrosion block on it first. Soak it down and let it work its way in. Then do what you have to to make the slide button move. No guarantees, but that stuff can work wonders.

MakoMike, where do you get that stuff? I've tried soaking it in penetrating oil, got it to move but it's real stiff.

Fish,
Most marine stores caay it, I think west marine has it. It comes in a blue and white can. Great stuff, I always have a can of it around.

Hi,

You can get any part for your reel right from Penn's web site. They are now working on the online parts purchase portion but for now you can call them and order what you need. They also have detailed specifications on reels in PDF format with all part numbers that you can download.
