Here's a shot of my first poppers. No hardware or final finish coat yet. Paint is those little spray cans of testor's enamel model paint. What I learned.... Ventilation is good!!!! A "Thunderbird" headache.... Haven't had one of them in years!!! I can see where your base coat influences the other paints that you apply. Pearlescent and transpartent paints can add complexity and subtlty to the overall effect of the plug, much like blending hackle and bucktail when I tie flies. This is goin' to be fun!

I like 'em. I was wondering what could be accomplished with cans of spray paint. I particullarly like the middle child. How long are they?:cool:

They're about 5 1/2" long and about 1" in diameter.
