Hi every one, I just found a c-hawk 25 sport for sale and I cant find much information about them. I have asked around and no one that I have talked to has any information about them. Have any of you fished on them or do you own one... Im just looking for any feed back I can get...

It looks just like a Parker is this better then a Parker???

I've heard good words on them before. Solid overall boat. Not a Parker but it isn't Parker money either (and are Parkers overrated? Like maybe GW too?)

Have fished on both before, the Parkers have tons of bells and whistles, but they ARE nice; C-Hawk is my pick for a inshore/bay boat; tons of deckspace, small on amenities....

Actually, my favorite boat for this type of work/play is a 24' RoMarine, now out of buisness :(

C-hawk is excellent boat almost bought one for last boat but JUST HAD to have center console to mount chair on bow.Would now perfer the 25 sport with cabin for Tuna in fall.F/N cold in nov. Only thing I didnt like was I/O and box took up a lot of cockpit space.Have seen with outboad set up and is roomier.This is I believe the style boat that got shipped to Cherbourg France when they were looking for the wreck of the CSS Alabama to use as one of the dive boats.If they would take it into the north sea it had to be a well built boat.

Is this boat an I/O or an outboard model? If it is not an outboard be sure it is at least freshwater cooled!! You'll most likely regret it if you buy a used I/O JMHO. I looked at a lot of boats and could you believe I settled on the wrong boat!! My first boat was a 99 23' Neptune W/A with an I/O and had it one summer sold it in August and had the boat I wanted in late October, 99 24' Hydra Sports Vector W/A much better boat with all the amenities and an outboard. Before you set down your hard earned cash make sure it is what you want, don't buy a boat based on price alone, heck they will finance you for ten years if you wanted!!;)

JohnR that's the truth. Parkers are huge dough.

Privateer also makes a good inshore 24 footer.

I just got back from Wesport with a friend of mine who is looking for an upgrade. We checked out Ros boats, which are built over there. This guy makes a sweet 24 footer that looks rugged as can be. Nice price.

The boat has 2 suzukie 140 4 strokes outboard. They have only 25 hours on them. it looks like a nice boat. It has top of the line electronics furno radar, furno sounder and navtronics color ploter.

I want to use it for cod and bass fishing on the bank..

I just dont want to make a mistake...

any more input would be great...

If the price is right I'd say go for it. The sea hawk, RoMarine, and Privateer, are all very popular with the inshore commerical boys. Stable, fast, and beamy.

My one issue with boats that have wheelhouses pushed far forward is their tendancy to yaw, and, at times, berry their bows into waves. But what small boat doesn't have this problem? I think that with your twin outboards there'd be enough weight in the stern to keep the bow up a bit when surfing down.

If it is what you want and you feel the price is right go for it!! But be sure you " SEA TRIAL " before you buy. ;) And let me know when you go cod fishing 2 boats is better than one and I haven't got my feet wet with cod fishing yet so need all the help available.:D
