west marine sells a nice nylon net for under $10 and you can easily tyrap it up....I did and hold all the lifejackets and throwable in there....perfect spot just in case.

I have fishnet type hammocks, used for storage available for $8.00 +shipping.
I am not sure if that is what your talking about. Theses are usually used in forward v-berths etc. as hanging storage.

No thanks anyway though, what I am looking for is a bungee type net probaly 3'x3' I had seen someone with one but after reading the posts it must have been something fabricated. The T pak doesnt seem bad either juts pricey.

I looked through my supply catalogs, and didn't find anything. And on second thought, the fish net hammocks, wouldn't hold up anyway, they are nylon, and the sunn will eat them.
Are you just covering life jackets?? How bout something like a lee cloth? You should be able to get one for about $25, or give me some dimensions and I'll make you one, and you can strap it down ar use bungy chords.

Check out AutoZone or Bennys or something like that. They have the type you are looking for. I have seen them before. They use them for trunks and roof racks to hold down stuff.
I no I have seen them around, but have not look lately?? But If I see them I will let you no.

This site has one 36 X 48
http://www.cargogear.com/Nets/CargoNets.htm#stretch

I have seen them in Jc Wintney before also

Just type in bungee nets in yahoo search and they have a few different things there. I found a morter cycle net 15" X 15" also?? Not to sure what size you will need
Good luck
