But then again after work I can have it wet in minutes..Did some smelt fishing right in that channel one night after work just for the hell of it...that was cool

Sea smoke is beautiful. Great shots! We had it down here this morning. It does, however, bring back some memories fishing offshore in the northwest gales, the whole boat covered in ice.
I like how it is now--home every night. :)

hey Dad, Happy New Year. Now I know where you work;) and where to zip in to pick you up this summer. Heard of a couple holdovers caught by the power plant outflow last week. Hard to believe with that shot this AM, just a mile from the outflow.

Fishin, you won't see the Baker's Island houses for sale. They're passed down generation to generation. Nice looking, but they shoo away any and everyone who dares step foot upon their island community. A shame. Better odds of landing a house on Cuttyhunk me thinks. Keep playing the lottery unless you are a member of the lucky gene club!

Sounds like a plan....I'm going to fish my butt off the summer so we should hook up.

Great pics!

I'd be interested in any other shots you have of that area.. I grew up in Salem and spent my summers working at Pickering Wharf Marina.

Cool.. I assume thats Derby Wharf? I haven't been down there in probably 5 years.

I didn't appreciate it at the time, but the first stripers I ever saw must have been at least 50-60# monsters that hung around under the lights at the PWM docks.
