i've been lucky enough to have season tickets since 93, and the coldest game i've been to is the 96 season jacksonville playoff game. it was 10 degrees that day, this saturday will be the coldest for me at a game. anyone else here go to the games?

:wavey:
I am :D
I was at the other game too, but I thought it was 19 degrees:confused: guess I was wrong, all I know is I was in the windiest part of the stadium and even though it was frikin' cold as anything, the crowd sure was loud, I left with no voice and frozen feet. I can't wait. see you there :)

i mite just wear my neoprene waders, never been cold yet in them. this is gonna be fun, i wonder if we'll get a fly by from the fighter jets. nothing like the sound of some fighter jets screaming by an open air stadium. what a sound :D

I am gonna be in my big warm comfy chair with my feet up on the stool, all kinds of food closeby, a toilet just a few feet away, no crowds or traffic, I will get all the play by play and know exactly what is going on while you guys are freezing your butts off in nosebleed city, 25 degrees below zero with the windchill and so cold that when you press the binoculars to your face after a few minutes you won't have to hold them any more, they will be frozen to your face! And for what????? To say you were there??? Got news for you, I am gonna see the game just like you, the only difference other than those listed above is that I am gonna get to keep my toes, fingers, and ear lobes. :laugha: Man are you guys gonna be cold! Its gonna make Lambeau Field look like a sauna! Good luck and have a ball guys seriously....I can't wait to hear first hand how cold it really was!

I'm with BigFish. Home. The lady is heading down to New York, so I'II be watching the game solo--I won't be able to fill her in with my football commentary. Guess the dogs will have to do.

i'm with you bigfish, i like to watch the games at home. never been to much of a cold weather person but given the chance to be at a patriots playyoff game its fun, just have to be prepared for the cold, but i'll tell ya these bones are getting a little old to be out there in this cold weather. maybe patriots tickets for plugs could be arranged in the future.:D

What am I thinking BigFish?:smash: ;) Well, I am going to cheer for my team and root for them to win. Being there makes me one of the fans, and the fans are like an extra player on the field. Gotta love those Patriots. I'll be watching the same game as you Bigfish, but when I see it on the TV , it will be on a videotape. We are taking my brothers RV and gonna watch the game before while in a heated RV with plenty of hot protein and munchies :D

Katie, I have asthma too, but I'll be medicated :D been taking a different inhaler lately and it is working great since I don't need my albuterol hardly at all. I can't wait.

i wish i was going. i have only been to one game, the season opener about 8 - 10 years ago. that was just as i was getting into football, so i didn't enjoy it as much as i would now.

Can't beat the experience, the NFL puts on a heck of a show! I couldn't get tickets for this (as if that was possible) so I'm in the warm couch section. But I'll be yelling my lungs out with ya! Take your shirt off so they show ya on TV!:laughs:

i'll tell ya, every year i see someone take off their coat and shirt at the games. and i'm sure tonite will be no exception, gotta admit it's pretty stupid but booze does strange things to people.

Alot of Eskimo up signs.

It wasn't cold enough for me to have to wear my neoprene Bronco jacket, so I didn't need it.

What a friggin game, they have to make it close again:smash:
Thankfully the outcome was the correct one:happy:

I saw 2 shirtless yahoos, chowderheads:laughs:

i saw them too slip, for those of us with a beer at the game if you waited too long between sips you were drinking ice. overall IT WAS COLD they kept showing a roaring fire on the jumbotron between time outs and playing the song summer wind by frank s.
at one point there was a film clip from the movie dumb & dumber when they ride into aspen on the mini bike with boogers on there face. ya just had to laugh at that no matter how cold you were :D
