That is still being debated...

I've read pros & cons on that study and the same on others...

They don't feel anywhere near the pain that I do when I'm not catching! :laughs:

I don't see where the arguement is. Of course they feel pain. They are a friggin animals with nerves for christ sakes.

I just wonder if the Peta crowd thinks about the pain a rodent feels when it is getting crushed on the motorway ?

Pretty soon they will be lobbying for highway closures.

Do you think a salmon feels pain when a bear hammers it between it's jaws ? Nah. When a wild animal kills something there is no pain. It is natural. But when an unnatural animal ike a human does it definetly is trauma to the animal.

Bitter folks have bitter stands. Ever meet a vegan who isn't reactive when one brings up the Meat Industry ? It isn't the meat they dislike, it is the processing.

Personally I had to stop frying eggs because I could hear the chick peeping while it cooked. It really bugged me........

well then maybe we should fire whole sides of beef into the upper atmosphere via a giant air cannon so they can flame broil on re- entry and that way the steer [meat ] can have a more spiritual transition into the after life for beef cows. :D
heck we can even add some angels breath flowers in there too

water cannon, sweet. I need one of them for next season :)

I forgot to mention that I would fry up a plate of $45 eggs for the Dave Manzi ( the artist formally known as Bassmaster) anyday.

the hooking part really isn't painful, it's removing the hook that hurts like hell!!!!!!!! of course if there is a fish attached to the plug also the pain meter does rise a couple of notches:smash:

of course i'm speaking from personal experience
