Hey Bill, nice site you have I think you'll enjoy it here as most of us Non-New England residents do. Where were you when I was a lad growing up in Northport and needed someone to teach me where to fish?

Wow what a great group--thank you for the warm greeting!!!!!!!!!!! I have hit the suds with a few of you a few times or more--nice to here from ya.. fish weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-- My guess would be Moriches inlet-- I cant really see what is accross the inlet but it looks like buggies, and I can see tire tracks on the east side so both sides look to be accessible.

A Bill. Glad ya swung by.

The spot is actually Shinnecock Inlet, looking NE from the West side.

Ahhhhhhhhh I was going to guess that but the buggies at least what looked like buggies threw me off----Looks like another cold winter-I hope the sand eels cooperate this year!

I hope so too. I heard really cold winters are good for the sand eel crop - should at least see a bunch on the North Shore this season?

speaking of sand eels....do they ball up like schools of sardines or are they constantly seeking to hide in the sand to avoid capture when bass are feeding on them?

Welcome Bill. Used to enjoy reading your nightly exploits on another site. Spend most of my time here now instead.
