I have not even tried one yet but they look great I feel it is worth giving them an honest try considering who is behind them:)

ooooh, I like those.

Why is it every time a thought comes into our heads about what would be an excellent lure, it then magically appears ?

Joe, I'll be contacting you shortly :)

RE: Mr. Wiggly
I have not used them, yet.
I have heard some good reports.
I know they are popular, and Tony S. is behind them so......

RE: Tattoo.....at last I heard, I'll have some Tattoo stuff fairly soon.......
He's a busy guy and I want to stay on his good side, so I don't rush him. :D

They worked very good for me and my cohorts this year. Best plug of the year. Nice pulsating action plus they actually cast well too. Sometimes the only plug they would hit. Big fish do like them.
Just change the hooks, had some major bendage.

I bought one of the Mr Wigglys off of Tony Stetzko at the MSBA show last March and he said to me that I may want to change the hooks and put something a little more heavy duty on there, that was early on and I believe, and I could be wrong, Tony was planning on using a different hook in the future. "Joe" might be able to tell us a little about the hooks that are on them currently. Love them Mr Wigglys.:kewl:

Marc, what situations were you using them in?
They do cast well for a jointed plug.
I really want to use these more, I just havent found their place

Has anyone else have any problems with the eyes , like, them falling out ?

Slipknot

Yes, the earlier batches had some troubles that were cleared up I believe by now. I have the old ones, if the eyes fall out bring them back to Tony and he will replace them. I had some eyes that were close so I just glued in a new one.
They do seem to cast decent for a jointed plug.

Does anyone know how deep they run? The lip does not look too big so I imagine only a few feet.

Krispy, they've worked fairly well for me in white churning water.

Also, on nights that you want to eel but don't have eels, throw the black one.

Fish them just like the directions on the new package, and they do catch jumbos

Slip, I'm starting to see a pattern here with you, lures and eyes falling out, what exactly are you doing with those plugs?!:smash: ;) johnny "the Ratt Boy"

Slipknot

Well, ya see rattboy, first I have to disect them and take them apart to study them. And then and only then I copy them :D what else?:smash: I put eyes on everything, bassmaster evens puts eyes on his fishing rod, honestly :D ask weewee. You can hide lots of blemishes with stick on eyes, the fish won't know :) Plugs that don't have any eyes actually do have eyes but they are just closed at the moment :) the fish don't care.
How cold is it in your house? I just froze putting out the trash, I bet they don't even pick it up, gonna be 45 below=wind chill and actual temp of 6 below, that's cold enough to freeze the eyes right off anything, especially slipknot plugs :)

:D Slip, my house is warm but the mail truck i'm in for 5 1/2 hrs a day, well that's another story:smash: . johnny

10-4 , Actually today when I was trying to think warm , my thoughts were going back to one day trip I had early Sept. on Balstons.Sunshine , my fishing buddy and plenty of bluefish...mixed in with the mung:smash: , opps, I know, I said the "M" word:rolleyes: johnny

Where can they be purchased, and how much? They look like a very active plug. What is the weight? I like using split lures like that.

Krispy,
I've caught fish on them in calm CT waters, a surf on the Vineyard & Rhody and in current, they seem to work wherever. You have to be careful around rockpiles though because they do dive depending on how fast you retrieve and you will get hung up, but you will know the best retrieve speed because you will feel the lure and the rod tip pulsating, I would guess the lure is running 2 feet below the surface at the optimum speed.
Caught fish on em a couple times when peanuts were around, herring, and other times when I saw no bait, so I can't really pin down what the best situation would be.
Good lluck,
MZ

Just called in my order. I'm glad he still had some left. I had the blue and green one and it was an excellent first light plug. I picked up the eel color, black and purple and the black/silver scale one. I know exactly where I'll be putting them to use. :D
