When heading to a fishing spot for a night of bassing, I try to clear the mind of any expectation. I try not to jinx the night by thinking about it--so I clear the mind.
But its hard when driving down the road, leaving my house, my eyes land on the speed-limit sign 35, and then later when I'm on a different road, again trying to clear the mind, I look over and see 55!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last night when I was high on minwax wood hardner I figured out why I have striper fever so bad now. Its because I cant go. When the bass are in season I dont think about bass so much when I'm not fishing, and I'm fishing so much I'm putting out the fever. But now, because I haven't caught a bass in 2 months, Its killing me...:smash:

Too much energy pent up inside, got to release it somehow. You and a lot of guys build plugs and rods.

Me--my hands get hairier by the day:smash:

get in shape for the coming season..... walk the malls (cruise chicks) get those legs swinging long before you walk on sand again. you'll release tension and stimulate the part of the brain that releases endophins or some other feel good chemicals in the process.

Believe me, the anticipation gets WORSE when you have a lot more time to think about it! Try driving a couple hours to a spot - and NOT go crazy with

Victorias secret is very sporting:D

Seriously, the rent is so high in malls, that there wouldn't be enough turnover to float a shop that caters to the one surfcaster in town...
