What is the best way to make a pattern to use on a duplicator? Mostly I want to know what I should use for material for the pattern and any other tips would be helpful. Thanks

Thanks MAC 01-25-2004, 09:37 AM All depends on what you have for a duplicator Slipknot 01-25-2004, 10:39 AM I have one of those long adjustable scribing tools, I don't know the correct term for it:rolleyes: and I use this to trace the body shape on a piece of either 1/4" plywood or plexiglass. Line it up and go. Somebody around here has a lot of it, right Russ. Bob Thomas 01-25-2004, 06:19 PM I've been using some 2x4 cut down to around 1x2. I trace the pattern out, cut it on the bandsaw, smooth it on the beltsander and with the dremel and then I coat it with some epoxy. Working pretty well. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
