I want to thank Mike for all the time and help he gave me today on picking out a rod blank, and everything else I needed to go along with building my first rod.. He went out of his way and I can't say thanks enought. Mike ROCKS!!!!!!

:D :D :D :D
Well said!!!
An hour learning from Mike is like three hours learning on your own.
I don't think there is anyone else out there who builds so many custom rods himself.
Mike how many rods did you build last year?

I'll 2nd that, Mike took time to meet me at the shop last week and set me up with the stuff for a rod, as well as advice to help a beginner out :btu:
That was my first visit to the shop, and I was very impressed, looks to have everything you'd want. Wish he wasn't 1-1/2 hours away, I'd have to go to three different places down here to match what he's got in one
