See that big American Bald Eagle flyin' over Your River this mornin' . . . hadta have a 7' wingspan :eek: . . . lotsa ice up north . . . :wavey:

i missed it. what part of the river? we had one just about in my back yard for a while. it has a nest just above the dam. they are cool!

finally had some open water above the dam, too. it has been a few weeks since it froze right over. there was a guy ice fishing below the holyoke dam yesterday. :smash:

I seen one last spring while I was fishing the Chicopee river, over by the warehouse's. Beautiful bird I must say.

We have 2 bald eagles in our backyard, its great to see this strong comeback

Amazing anything can live in that river, when you consider how much stale/recycled beer gets dumped into it (futher up). :hihi:

I grew up on a river and we used to find a TON of small glass bottles . . . some with corks still in them. Local lore was there was a factory that bottled various pills . . . if the packer broke a cork or the pill count was wrong they just tossed em out the window so they wouldn't get in trouble with 'da Boss :smash:
