Question........
Watching the much needed fishing shows on OLN saw Cindy Garrison fishing somwhere warm ( much south ). Her guide was showing a way to cast into any wind speed. Proved it by standing on the flats boat driving about 25 and casting in front of the boat.
Anybody else see that?
What the technique?
Where can I read up on it?
Never seam to have the fly rod ready on flat mornings !

I missed that show but would have loved to see it. The only way I can cast into or sidewys into the wind is to try and cast perpendicular to the wind and hope the fly ends up close to where I would want it to be without the wind present.

Catching fish is rewarding, but fishing is even more so!

Well I have decided to e mail her. If I get any response I will post it. Was very interesting to say the least.

Only way I have found to cast into the wind is set down the fly rod and pick up a spinner.
Three things in life can humble you in a minute, wife, golf, fly casting.
Gave up on golf!
