Went to one of my favorite bass spots. I proposed to her on the rocks. She said yes.
My mother gave me her grandmothers ring. Leah loves it, and it fits her finger just fine. I feel great right now--that's quite a load off my chest.

thats a given...(and Congrats) Lay down the rules of your time together and your time apart....which is a neccesary thing to keep it fresh and remember the old saying "absense makes the heart grow fonder..." So make it KNOWN that you will be absent because your going fishing and will be back in her arms before she knows it... put all the cards on the table -face up!

:laughs: I made that mistake once... I took my lady on bass tour one day and showed her every place I fished..told her everything about wind, tides etc...
Low and behold, one day I was at place X and who shows up...the Mrs... with a snack and a kiss for me :happy:
