Nope........just watch out for some of that shot. Some is coated with, I believe, graphite or something to make it "Non Stick"

Stupid law if you ask me, anything that has to do with loading or reloading a gun you're required to have a fid card in Mass. Maybe some shops not policing this but it is a law. I found this out looking for the stuff already. Kittery Trading post or online.

BigFish,

Have any local Trap/Skeet ranges around ya?? If so, ask them if you can scoop lead on a "Non Shooting" day. At our range, we have guys do it all the time. Scoop the lead from the far end of the fields. Wash it good and LET IT DRY for at least 2 weeks. You don't want water mixing in with the lead.

Reminds me.....gotta scoop some lead :D I know guys that re-use the lead in their trap shells.....talk about penny pinching :laughs:

How are you guys using this to weight yer plugs? Drill a hole as deep as required, tap the shot in then fill with plastic wood 'er somethin? Why not lead belly weights? Too heavy?

Just wonderin'

Sufster--The 50 caliber muzzle load fits perfect in a 1/2 inch hole, add bb shot for extra weight. Mix epoxy with West System filler to thicken and paste the shot into the hole, finish smooth. After it drys scuff with scratch pad than apply your favorite finish. Like Bob Thomas said watch out for coated lead. Hope this helps

Is anyone interested in small chrome or anodized parts???
I am looking at setting up a system to chrome and anodize some of our small parts we make. Do you think it would be used here??
