Is there a book or site any of you would suggest for a newbie into plug making? What to buy in terms of supplies and/or the basics of how to get started making my own plugs? Short of a paint sprayer I am pretty good (I have a jig saw, drill press, and a lathe).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

And if you do come up with something that has not been answered, plenty of guys here who can probably help. You might find a book, but nothing out there as good as what you'll find here.

Thanks everyone, I've been trying to read as many of the threads here as time permits... Someone had posted a link to to a page where they showed a plug being made step by step (bookmarked it on my home computer, at work now).

I just want to make sure I have what I need before I start, at least now that the mess in my workshop has been cleaned up and I am about ready to start cursing, I mean experimenting a bit with some of the procedures.
