They had a small atricle in yesterday's Herald about ice fishing out in Worcester. The contest was won with a 5+ lb pickerel.
I only managed a couple small largemouths at Buckmaster, but I've caught fish at Horn Pond in Woburn as well.
Ever see a 10 inch crappie eat a 4 inch minnow? I couldn't believe it until I saw it first hand.

I spent this weekend trying two ponds, Sunday at Furnace pond in Pembroke (one hit all day, and lost the fish to a bad hook set).

Yesterday, at Farm pond in Framingham, Nothing, Nada, Zilch. The only flag was from a bait run.

This weekend looks like a warmer, wetter one, so I guess raingear and creepers may be in order.

I have been a couple of times. Early morning seems to be the best. Not many fish caught, but those that I did catch were all decent bass.

I've been out three times this year with a total catch of 2 pickerel.
