We can't make up our minds where to go ice fishing tomorrow and we can't reach each other by phone because we are on the puter! So where do we go??? Long Pond or Whitmans? I vote Long Pond!:kewl:

Sorry guys but I refuse to fish Long Pond in Plymouth, the place s#%* through the ice. I'll be around somewhere fishing for bass and pics.

The monponsette ponds in Halifax had good crowds last weekend. But be sure it's safe, ain't worth swimming in long johns.

Had a pretty good day considering I have never fished Long Pond before....got about a half dozen perch and a small (1 lb) brookie. Not a slammer day but alot of fun with my buddies Joey G, Slingah and Anthony. Beauty of a day though....I got sunburned face from glare off the ice...feels good though!:kewl: Had a ton of flags and almost got spooled once (sure wish I had gotten to the tilt sooner).

Small fish but a great day anyway. There aren't too many fish prettier than a rainbow trout.....cept' maybe a striper!

General info to anyone fishing Long Pond or that area, we had about 8-10 inches of ice but be careful as many of the other area ponds are alot thinner!:btu:
