Is that one hook or two? Or a very long shank and a very high tie in front? Intrigued with the tying steps.

looks good but just my .02$ you can achieve the same effect you are going for with a tube fly if its tied the way i think it is any further info on the tie would be great..

if you tie 2 seperate tube flies and put them on the leader back to back without the use of the rubber tubeing to hold them in place i have seen some eels done this way with up to 4 tubeflies back to back. so you can make em shorter and longer as you see fit.
i can not see how your fly is tied in the picture. maby i am wrong.
can you explain how you did this ei. one hook or two? first half tied on wire and second on hook?
i will get some pics of what i am talking about to show ya what i mean.
i wasent trying to discourage your fly i was just noteing an observation hope ya didnt take it the wrong way:cheers:

ROWDY, sounds INTERESTING will look forward to the pic's
as for the one I tied the one on the BOTTOM is the BROKENBACK
there are 2 ways to tie it, HOOK UP FRONT W/ MONO BACK
or MONO FRONT, W/HOOK BACK , w/ the weight in the back you can TURN the front part an the back wount turn, heres another way, I have found if you tie material on the Hook an Mono SIDEWAYS so the fly lays on it's SIDE, you can DRIFT it an TWICH it as a REAL BrokenBack. hope that helps.
GOOD LUCK GOOD TYIN:D
