My favorite beer......would have to be.........."Free Beer"!:laugha:  :gu: :buds:

Miller Lite bottles only, from a cooler full of ice only! What can I say....I like it the way I like it!

To me, cans ruin the taste of beer!

Best beer I ever had was an IPA from the the General Lafayette Inn in Pennsylvania...It was Spectacular. Brewers Special, Right Place, Right Time.

I have LOTS of Favorites....Including Free :D

IPA's - Harpoon, Ipswich, and Stone Cat (IPA's are by far my Favorite Style)
Ales - Arrogant Bastard
Stouts - Sorry but nobody beats a Guiness on Tap
Wheat - Tucher w/ a wedge, UFO
Rye - Redhook Sunrye
Seasonal - Post Road Pumpkin (makes a great Black and Tan), Harpoon Winter Warmer, Boston Beerworks Watermelon

On a 90 degree Summer Day nothing beats a Bud thats been sitting in a cooler of ice for 6 hours.

I used to have a buddy who would drive all the way to VT to buy Magic Hat like 10 years ago. Unfortunately he killed himself (RIP). I have had a thing for Sierra Nevada lately.

RIP Mike:( ,
BTW he used to drive up there when you could only get McNeil's at gas stations around Brattelboro. He was a great Mofo, I miss him every day...
Mikey only likes Sierra because I do...
Lately I've been all about the crazy new Dogfish head brews from DE...they rock!!!
All time favorite is still Sierra Celebration Ale...I had one today at Sunset in Allston.

During winter months I have developed a taste for Wexford's Irish Cream Ale. During the summer it's something lighter - Michelob (and not that Ultra crap!).

This has got to be one of the best Non-Ad campaigns for a Brewery.....And their beer is outstanding. The Arrogant bastard has an Alcohol level of 7.2% and they've released a Double Bastard that comes in at a hefty 10% ABV.

Why would anyone want to be out of work?

RickBomba
03-03-2004, 08:02 PM
Oh, my partner and I are selling the restaurant. He's the money man, so I have nothing to gain from the sale.
Couldn't stand being on a sinking ship, morale was very bad. Anyhow, he heard I was looking for another job, so we cut the cord last week.
Bad news is I gave him notice like six weeks ago, so I'm not eligible for unemployment. I've got a little cash saved up, so I won't really be in trouble until May.
Got a couple job prospects lined up, though. We'll see at the end of the week.:D

Rick

Rick, glad to hear the job thang worked out, even if the herring run isn't this year. I was going to offer you room and board in exchange for some light carpentry and surrogate stay-at-home mom jobs around my house 'til you got on your feet, but I guess that won't be necessary.
