In the Brockton Emptyprise newspaper today on page two under news notes a reporter clearly and unequivicoly stated that herring were spotted in Oliver Mill Park at 11 a.m. in Middleborough by volunteer observers, Mark Brochu and David Lemmo. Mark and David said that their were about 30 traveling up the Nemasket River on their way to Wareham Street.
