View Full Version : Big bait catches big fish striprman 03-13-2004, 08:37 PM No truer words were ever spoken RIJIMMY 03-13-2004, 09:55 PM I'm not so sure. A lot of big fish are taken on teasers that are only a few inches long. My Dad has 2 fish over 50lbs, both on eels and he always uses the smallest eels he can get. I would say the "right" bait catches big fish BigFish 03-13-2004, 10:12 PM KarlF will tell you anyway, but I got a few words for ya....Stetzko.....73 lbs.....teaser!:uhuh:  I would have to say, right time, right place, right bait! However...if you dragged a really huge steak and a smaller steak past this BigFish......I'd be hittin' the big one....no teasers for me!:bl: Goose 03-13-2004, 10:51 PM Word up Larry. I wonder how many big bass(over#50) have been caught on teasers and fly's?? It builds my confidence by throwing something big, especialy bait. I open mouth then insert foot. BigFish 03-13-2004, 10:53 PM I can't say I use alot of teasers Goose, to be honest with you. My buddy Joey G does, he loves em' and does well with them but I really do prefer the "big stuff" myself. Bring on those cows!:bounce: goosefish 03-13-2004, 10:53 PM Goose me too. When I chunk I like tossing a big chunk. If I'm chumming and chunking then I use a smaller bait. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
