Or is it a deal where you can spin any shape and try to swim it?? Bernzy 03-16-2004, 10:01 AM Fun isn't it??? The tail taper on the top one looks good and should swim with the right sized lip. The tail on the bottom one is too thick IMHO. Bernzy Hip 03-16-2004, 10:19 AM Here is the Surfster. I took too much off the head I think.... Hip 03-16-2004, 11:35 AM OK....anyone use paintshop to try color schemes and patterns? bassmaster 03-16-2004, 12:19 PM Hip, I would paint those a solid color white or Yellow and wire them up and try them. that way You will figure out what You need to do next. the bottom plugs could be better shaped though and even though You got a wide nose on the surfster. It may be to Your likeing.' Seems to me with that wood on the nose it should stay on top thats My guess Hip 03-16-2004, 12:27 PM Thanks for the tips. I dont have any lips so I just was winging it on the size. Do you just match the head to the lips? Can you customize lips or make your own ? I guess you can use spinnerbait blades??? I was just winging it with these two. I never used a lathe before. It wasnt too bad. How does a duplicater work?? Can one be bought for a Lathe that dosnt have one? Thanks.
