We consider a hog over 40". I bought a new Death staff (like the Chunker of Death's)and first day out (last saturday) I caught some very nice fish; two of which were 40" & 42" fish. Very fat and healthy! Last weekend I caught a total of 50 stripers with the samllest 22" and biggest 42", not counting the ones I missed or that got off. Alot of them were in 25" to 32". All caught chunkin' and all were released unharmed to fight another day. I think I have broken in my new outfit...... well maybe not...... to make sure a better go out again this long 4th of july weekend.

Hey Ragfly - good to hear that you and the COD have big fish... Matter of fact, the Rhody Leg will now be held on the Maine Ledges...jus kiddin...

What methods are working? Herring and Macks from the beach?

Don't be suprised if a fellow Maniac form Ogunquit starts breathing down yer necks...

John chunks of macks right now. there is so much bait around right now that I have had numerous reports of the fish being very selective. Thats what happened this past weekend with me and when we switched to macks on in coming tide, Bingo. COD and I will be out fishing the next few days. Today I received a report of big blues as well. Come on up and visit, COD and I could make you an honorary Ledge Lizard.8)
