Slightly tougher than Fry level, but probabaly no problem for you music aficianados.

1. "Then you flew your lear jet to Nova Scotia
To see the total eclipse of the sun"

2. "Woke up this mornin' and I got myself a beer"

3. "Sun streaking cold, an old man wanderin' lonely
Taking time the only way he knows"

4. "Early morning, April 4th
Shot rings out in the Memphis sky"

5. "She has a lot of pretty, pretty boys
She calls friends"

6. "Too many mountains and not enough stairs to climb.
Too many churches and not enough truth"

Good luck. In the interest of disclosue I want to note that I saw this type of thread on another forum and thought it would be fun here. But these lyrics are my original choices.

Not bad. Here is a little more help for #6

6. "It's too late.
She's gone too far.
She's lost the sun."

And the next group:

7. "And the children that you spit on,
as they try to change their world"

8. "There's a killer on the raod.
His brain is squirmin' like a toad"

9. "The ocean is a desert with its life underground
And the perfect disguise above."
(Reminds me of every day that I got skunked)

10. "And though it's a part of the lone star state
People don't seem to care"

11. "Out on the road today I saw a deadhead sticker on a cadillac"

12. "And it's whispered that soon
If we all call the tune,
Then the piper will lead us to reason"

Come on rex, give some of us youngin's a chance...Actrually, I'm not that young, but I tend to listen to the modern type rock.
Mikey's favorite old band is the guess who.
Bowie "changes"
Doors "Riders on the storm"
I'll have to go back for the others.
Later,
Rick

Rick - I'll have to work a little more on the modern ones. For now here is one last batch of schoolies:

13. "You don't have to wear that dress tonight
Walk the streets for money. You don't care if it's wrong or if it's right"

14. "The highway's jammed with broken heroes on a last chance power drive"

15. "If that chick don't wanna know, forget her"

16. " 'No' is the saddest experience you'll ever know.
Yes, it's the saddest experience you'll ever know"

17. "I was raised by a toothless bearded hag.
I was schooled with a strap right across my back"

18. "I was born in the backseat of a Greyhound bus
Rollin' down Highway 41"

Tomorrow I'll "release" some keepers.
Enjoy!

"My father was a taylor and sewed my new blue jeans"
"
Don't go around tonight, I here its about to take your life"

"Rolled him up in a nice clean sheet and laid him out upon the bed a gallon of whiskey at his feet and a bottle or porter at his head."

"Tear roof off this mother, tear the roof off this mother sucker, tear the roof off this sucker"

"If I get home before for daylight, I just might get some sleep tonight."

"There must be some kinda way out of here, said the joker to the theif"

"That deaf dumb black kid sure plays a mean pinball"

Thats it for now. Sorry guys don't know any TESLA songs so can't put any on there for you. GOOD Luck I think they are all pretty simple

Hooked - is it that obvious? I'm 48. That's early 40's, isn't it?

JohnR :

All I can come up with is Seger and Hot For Teacher by Van Halen.

Sam:

2 Animals:House of the Rising Sun
6 Grateful Dead: Friend of the devil is a friend of mine (not sure of the song title.
7 All Along the Watchtower - original artist is Dylan
8. Who: Pinball Wizard

Thanks for keeping this going. Your lyrics probabaly belong at a tougher level. On to the keepers.
