What it used to be was a tremendous amount of fun. Myself and my buddies would go to the Waquinah Rod and Gun for the 3 a.m. breakfast and then find a spot around the pond to fish for that tagged trout. Sometimes we were even sober.

Well, now I owe Zeke two - :smash: and :smash:

I got to his house yesterday at 3:07 AM - he said he wanted to be on the road at 3 AM and he sure as hell was, when I got there his truck was gone :crying:

Saw the TV going in his bedroom, figured the truck mighta been locked in the garage so I called his number on my cell and - you guessed it - I woke up Mrs. Zeke. That was not a good thing.

At least she was nice enough not to cuss, call the police or put a round through my windshield. Actually, she was nice enough to tell me Zeke wasn't there after checking the kitchen.

So no Wachusett trouts or salmons for me yesterday. Ah, screw 'em, trout ain't got the sense God gave to a donut anyway. At least striped bass are smart enough to head South with the first snowfall. Man, it was snotty yesterday.

I guess the Lord had other plans for me (and Mrs. Crafty wanted some personal time and kicked me outta the house). I went to Tattoo's and after drooling over his newest batch of darters and little swimmers (the latest paint schemes are even more accurate, if you can believe it), we drove up North for an afternoon Habby Hour. :ss: I brought a gallon of Bloody Polish Bullrakes to Habs place (my special bloody mix, half clam juice, half beef broth with a coupla tbl. of Koskioski...Koskakoolie...whatever the hell that Pollack mustard is - in it. John supplied the vodka, some awesome Polish stuff his sister gets I never heard of that is real smoooooth.

Ya know, it turned out to be a hell of a good rainy afternoon after all. :buds:

And the way I see it, old Zeke is the guy who missed the boat - besides, I wish I'da been there when Zekey walked in the door yelling "Honey, I'm Hooooome" - :smash: :smash: :smash:

Hehhehheh.....payback is a beyatch...hehhehheh
