flounders biting well off the sugar bowl in s boston you can only keep three fish at 12 inches . can fish from the sugarbowl itself or off a boat seaworms best bait, you can use little strips of clams as well. also bird activity at amelia earhart dam . probaly a few herring around,, stripers hitting on freshwater side of dam. be advised you need a license . also big stripers will follow the herring up to mystic lake dam ive seen them over 30lbs same for watertown dam.

3 flounder?...that ain't much to eat and hardly worth the effort or fuel to do a trip. As a kid I recall the bottom paved with these tasty spring flatties. What happend? Another overfished/comm exploitation story?

Pete...The Watertown fishery is very new...only a few years old...I grew up fishing there and we should stay away or promote c & r only there until these fish are established in that spot

Herring run has been there forever...Bass...since 1970 only the last three years have seen SB in any numbers
