Has anyone ever put rattles in their wood? I know the wood would deaden the sound, but might still give off some vibration.
Thanks:)

My rubba with rattles always outfishes without. If it works with wood i'll let you know.:) ChrisH 04-14-2004, 05:14 PM I made a few canal specials that rattle...drilled the arse end too deep and the weight slid back and forth on the thru-wire and rattled. Now I do a few that way, it works pretty well. Chris justplugit 04-14-2004, 07:40 PM Thanks Chris, sounds like a good way to do it.Did you enclose the shot in a glass vial or just let them roll inside? ChrisH 04-14-2004, 07:58 PM justplugit, actually they are the tail weights with a hole in the center for the wire to go through them..does that sound right? They slide up and down the thru-wire inside the plug. Hope this helps Chris justplugit 04-14-2004, 08:16 PM Ya,Chris that sounds right and helps alot! That is a great idea.:btu: I wil try with the glass tubes on the bottom of the surfsters. If they still swim good and have an advantage i will let you know.
