Nebe 04-13-2004, 03:40 PM At this point I've taken the needle off of the pipe and am fire-polishing where the breakoff was....Then it gets put in an oven over night to cool. tomorrow I'll show a pic of the needle when its cold... Way back... like 5000 years ago, glass was invented on a beach when sailors (or surfcasters:rolleyes: ) made a fire with seaweed and used limestone rocks to make a fire pit... when the fire got going the ash from the seaweed mixed with the sand and the limestones and in the morning the hung over sailors awoke to a pool of cold glass inside the fire pit...
