here it is, I made it with a dremel and some a ton of sanding and Used spray paint. I wanted a plug with a bigger profile than the gibbs polaris 3 1/2 oz. My is 8" and weighs 3 3/4 oz.
what do you guys thinks. please be honest, I have no problem being critqued. Oh yeah i haven't put envirotex on yet.

Nice work! Just imagine how much easier it would be with a lathe! You had to have spent hours on that just in sanding.:uhoh: :musc:

I accidently took to much off of one side when i was sanding, so I put a little split shot in the other side to balance. I aslo put a little split shot in the back. now it floats great and cast good too!

i got some polaris type poppers i made in early 90's when I lived in falmouth.
I used those dowels and pored lead right in the belly towards the back.
they casted a mile with a p229 and caught
one of My fav colors for popper is yellow with a read head
and white with a blue head.
I used ace hardware flo yellow and green for the toothy ones
