After my sealer dries (boiled linseed oil and mineral spirits) do I need to give a light scuffing to the plugs before I begin to apply the primer????

Just make sure it's clean. I like to scuff the BIN primer with 320 before paint though. Striperknight 04-18-2004, 05:52 PM Surfster - How are you a Redneck when you live on LI? MAC 04-18-2004, 07:10 PM I say yes. The scuffing gives the paint something to grab to. Plus by lightly sanding or scuffing you can knock down any fine imperfections that pop up. justplugit 04-18-2004, 07:15 PM YA,like Big Fish said that is one cool avatar:kewl:--November on Montauk?:) Surfster 04-22-2004, 03:16 PM Originally posted by Striperknight Surfster - How are you a Redneck when you live on LI?
