My AOL 9.0 is "Optimizing " me into a stroke. It'll work fine for 5 minutes and then it starts draggin' mud. Then I get kicked off redialed and have to fight it to re-boot. So now they're on the short list of things I don't need to put up with. Who's the best ISP and what do they cost?

Go Cable if you can....
I pay $49 but it would be $10 cheaper if I had cable tv too....

30-50 times faster than what your getting now.

I use 110.net for $8.50 a month. Been using for a bunch of years now with no problems.

Broadband cable--OptimumOnline from Cablevision.

There's a reason they call it "AO-Hell" :laughs: Before I had broadband, the best I could do was a 28.8 kb connection and got booted on an average of every 20 minutes :af:

Any of you ever check your connection speed at Mcafee.com?
They have a speedometer that clocks your download capability.
Here are my results....
